Bloomingburg is a village in Sullivan County, New York. It is inside the town of Mamakating. The village covers roughly two thirds of a square mile. It is within the Catskill Mountains and is considered part of the Hudson Valley region. Bloomingburg was incorporated in 1833. It was the original county seat of Sullivan County.
