Camden is a town in Oneida County, New York. It is part of the Central New York region. The town is roughly forty miles northeast of Syracuse and roughly forty miles northwest of Utica. , the town’s population was estimated at 4,750. Inside the town is a village also named Camden. It is the town’s main population area. The town covers a total area of fifty-four square miles. It was formed in 1799.
