Harford is a town in Cortland County, New York. It is considered part of the Central New York region. Harford is around 20 miles east of Ithaca and around 50 miles south of Syracuse. There are only two hamlets in Harford. One is named after the town, Harford, and the other is Harford Mills (formerly “South Harford”). Harford was established in 1845. It is a small and rural town. The town makes up twenty four square miles., the town’s population was estimated at 900.
