Hopewell is a town in Ontario County, New York. It is located just east of the small city of Canandaigua and approximately thirty five miles southeast of Rochester., the town was home to an estimated 3,800 residents. Hopewell is mostly farmland and covers thirty-six square miles. The town encompasses the hamlets of Aloquin, Chapin, Ennerdale, Hopewell Center, and Littleville.
