Hopewell is a town in Ontario County, New York. It is considered part of the Finger Lakes region. The town is located just east of Canandaigua City and around thirty five miles southeast of Rochester., the town was home to approximately 3,743 residents. Hopewell is mostly farmland and covers thirty-six square miles. The town encompasses the hamlets of Aloquin, Chapin, Ennerdale, Hopewell Center, and Littleville.
