Lyons is a town in Wayne County, New York. It is located approximately fifteen miles south of the Lake Ontario shore and approximately forty miles east of Rochester. The Erie Canal goes through Lyons and it can be crossed by several bridges., the town population was estimated at 5,500. Lyons is the Wayne County Seat.
