Nanticoke is a town in Broome County, New York. It is located around eighteen miles north of the City of Binghamton and is considered part of the Southern Tier region., the estimated population was 1,700. Nanticoke was established as a township in 1831 and named after the Native American tribe that lived along the Chesapeake Bay. Two hamlets make up the town, Glen Aubrey and Nanticoke (formerly Lambs Corners).
