Nyack (pronounced Nigh-yack) is a village in Rockland County, New York. The village is split between two towns. Most of Nyack is in the town of Orangetown and the rest is in the town of Clarkstown. Nyack is considered a New York City suburb. It is located approximately 30 miles north of Times Square and rests on the western bank of the Hudson River., the village population was estimated at 7,000.
