Sherburne is the name of a town and village in Chenango County, New York. The county is considered part of the Central New York and Southern Tier regions. Sherburne is around 50 miles southeast of Syracuse, around 50 miles northeast of Binghamton, and around 110 miles southwest of Albany. Sherburne is made up of two villages and two hamlets. One village is the aforementioned Sherburne, and the other is Earlville. The hamlets are Harrisville and Sherburne Four Corners. , the total population was estimated at 4,100.
