Warren County, New York
Warren County is a county in the northeast part of New York State. The area is known as the Northern District region and the Capital District region. The southern part of the county is roughly fifty miles north of Albany. The northern part of the county is roughly one hundred miles south of the Canadian border. The county was formed in 1813 and named after Joseph Warren, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. Warren County spans a total area of nine hundred and thirty-two square miles. It contains eleven towns and one city. Perhaps the most well-known place in the county is Lake George. It is known for its summer vacation spots and outdoor recreational activities., the county population was around 65,000.
