Woodridge is a village in Sullivan County, New York. It is considered part of the Catskill Mountains region and is roughly 100 miles northwest of New York City. The village is within the town of Fallsburg., the village population was estimated at 900. During the summer months, the population increases around five-fold.

There are four main roads in Woodridge. County Route 53 (Old Falls Road) runs east-west between the village and the Hamlet of Fallsburg to the west. County Route 158 runs north-south between the village and the Hamlet of Dairyland (Wawarsing) to the north. County Route 54 runs between the village and the Hamlet of Mountain Dale to the east. County Route 58 (Glen Wild Road) runs between the village and the Hamlet of Rock Hill (Thompson) to the south. On these roads, the speed limit is generally 55 mph. As one enters the village the speed limit is reduced to 30 mph. However, many motorists fail to notice the reduced speed or do not realize how fast they are going.
