Barton is a town in Tioga County, New York. It is located on the New York – Pennsylvania border, approximately forty miles west of Binghamton and approximately twenty miles east of Elmira. The area is known as the Southern Tier region. Within the town is the Village of Waverly. It is the town’s main population area and the location of most businesses.
