Maybrook is a village in Orange County, New York. It is located approximately sixty miles northwest of New York City. The village is within two towns, mostly in Montgomery and partially in Hamptonburgh., the population of Maybrook was estimated at 3,100. The village is home to the Maybrook Railroad Museum. The Museum showcases the importance of the Maybrook Rail Yard during the 1900’s. At one point, it was the largest train terminal on the east side of the Mississippi River.
