Minisink, New York
Minisink is a town in Orange County, New York. The name is Native American in origin, but its explanation is unclear. Minisink is in the southern part of the county and the southern town line is the New Jersey border., the estimated town population was 4,800 spread out over twenty-three square miles. Minisink is located roughly seventy-five miles north-west of Midtown Manhattan. Within the town are three hamlets and one village. The hamlets are Johnson, Waterloo Mills, and Westtown. The village is Unionville.
