Sennett is a town in Cayuga County, New York. It is part of the Finger Lakes region, located north of Owasco Lake and Skaneateles Lake. The town surrounds the small city of Auburn on its northern and eastern side., the town was home to around 3,200 people. Sennett was formed in 1827 and named after an early settler and public official named Daniel Sennett. The town is about twenty-nine square miles. It contains the hamlets of Sennett (formerly Fellows Corners) and Wicks Corners.
