Victory is a town in Cayuga County, New York. It is part of the Central New York region, around forty miles northeast of Syracuse., the town population was around 1600. Most of the town consists of farmland and covers a total area of thirty-four square miles. It contains a few hamlets named North Victory, Victory and Westbury. The town was formed in 1821 after an acrimonious political dispute within the town of Cato. Eventually, two towns emerged from splitting the land of Cato. These towns were Victory and Conquest.

The town's main road is New York State Route 370. NYS-370 runs west and south-southeast. It passes through the main hamlet of Victory. Victory does not have a police department. Instead, its roads are monitored by the New York State Police and the Cayuga County Sheriff's Department.
